Homeschool Mother's Journal #2!

In my life this week...

This week was a busy hectic week with my sister and her family joining us in Washington on their vacation.  We had fun going down to the pier in Olympia, eating at the Oyster house, playing at Tumwater Falls Park and swimming at their hotel room!  It was a joy to have them visit us this week and I miss them deeply!

In our homeschool this week... 

I am working on getting my curriculum organized and my day set so that when I really get into things I will be able to do it without fretting too much.  I am a fretter!  LOL  I am also on my way to becoming certified to homeschool in my state.  I guess all it takes is writing some book reports and answering some questions.  Kind of silly if you ask me, but what do I know, I don't have a degree, just a technical school certificate (4.0 by the way) and life experience to back up my reason for being able to teach my daughter.  Yes a sore spot, but I will get over it!  LOL

Places we are going and people we are seeing this week...

We will be taking our second trip to the dentist this week for my daughter to have more teeth sealed.   We also have more family coming so we get to see grandparents and have fun in the great outdoors!  Our SUV is being repaired this week so hopefully we will still get to go camping with the grandparents!

I am grateful for...

I am grateful for the beautiful place I live, the wonderful husband I have, and the precious daughter God gave us both.  I am blessed beyond  measure even if I don't have all the play things everyone else does :)
